Alley Cat

Ten-pin for two. Swipe to bowl.

How to bowl
  1. Stand: drag the ball left or right along the foul line.
  2. Aim: drag the gold marker on the arrows. Good bowlers aim at the arrows, not the pins.
  3. Bowl: swipe up from the ball. A faster swipe is a faster ball.
  4. Hook: curl the end of your swipe left or right and the ball curves late, on the dry end of the lane. Come in at an angle to the pocket (just right of the head pin, or left if you hook right) and the pins carry.
  5. Ball: heavier balls carry pins better; lighter balls can be thrown faster.
  6. Scoring: ten frames. A strike scores 10 plus your next two balls; a spare 10 plus your next one. Strike or spare in the tenth and you get bonus balls. Splits are circled.
  7. Game modes: Classic uses normal physics. Curveball doubles your hook, Turbo speeds up every ball, and Switch lanes cycles house, dry and slick each frame. All use ten-pin scoring; fun-mode records are separate from classic.
  8. Lyndon: if he wanders onto the deck and bats a pin over, house rules say it counts.
Alley Cat. A turkey is three strikes in a row.
